I recently had the pleasure of staying at New Heaven Dive Resort in Chalok Baan Kao, and let me tell you, it surpassed all my expectations! Nestled away from the noise, this gem offers a tranquil retreat with the calmest ocean waters I've ever experienced - perfect for a family day of sunbathing and swimming. The resort's staff were incredibly friendly and even helped us secure our ferry tickets when they were fully booked - talk about going the extra mile! Each morning, we started our day with yoga sessions held on a beautiful open-air deck overlooking the bay, a wonderful way to connect with nature and recharge. The food at their tropical-themed café was a delight, offering everything from fresh cocktails to decadent desserts; We indulged after our dives, reminiscing about the stunning marine life we encountered. As for the diving, the instruction was relaxed yet professional, making it perfect for both seasoned divers and beginners. The guides encouraged us and provided valuable insights about marine conservation, highlighting the unique ecosystem of Koh Tao. I can't wait to return, hopefully with air conditioning to keep cool!
